Applications for the 2024-2025 school year must be submitted by March 13st, 2025!
Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass Leadership Lexington Youth Program (LLYP) is a program for high school juniors enrolled in Fayette County public, private, parochial, Montessori, and home schools. Founded in 2004 by Commerce Lexington Inc., the mission of LLYP is to prepare diverse individuals for leadership through education and hands-on interaction, exploring issues and resources pertaining to our community. The program will motivate students to think seriously about the role they would like to play and the difference they can make in the Lexington community.
Application process:
All applications and letters of recommendation are due by March 13st, 2025. Applications will then be reviewed in April. Next student interviews will take place in May- students chosen will be contacted by Junior Achievement with the interview date and time. Acceptance/regret letters will be sent out in June.
